“I started training with Jim the end of my junior year and by the time I was a junior I had already been with SO many personal trainers for volleyball, basketball, track, weight training, etc… and it wasn’t until I trained with Jim that I got the PERSONAL element of personal training. Jim immediately became familiar with my personal goals for the upcoming track season and made sure every session was taking me towards that goal. Every time I met with Jim I was nervous because I knew the work out was about to kick my butt but excited because I knew I was targeting all the right muscles and techniques that would help me in my specific events (triple jump, 400m, 800m). After a couple sessions Jim was able to correct my form on things I had been doing wrong for years and after making those tweaks and changes, the results I saw were exponential. My senior season was the year I saw the most improvement in my performance and I credit that to the special attention Jim put towards my form and all the exercises he made me do that were specific to my events in track. was able to correct my teammates form in the weight room and they saw improvements in how much more weight they were able to start lifting too! I received many scholarship offers that year and even though I made the decision not to run track in college, I still take all the things he taught me in my half marathon and marathon training I’m currently doing. Jim even made sure to keep up with me during the season and continue to give me tips and answer questions I had even if I texted him at random hours of the day or night. I know that if I texted Jim tomorrow asking for tips on how to strengthen a specific muscle or for general advice in my training that he would answer promptly with a lot of advice and resources even though it’s been over a year since I finished my track career.”Nicole Aragon
“Lifting weights was totally new territory since I’m a former long distance runner/cardio addict. Jim’s online workout plans were easy to follow and catered to my goals using the equipment I had available in my garage gym. He also included videos for each move and was always there to answer questions when needed. He also helps with nutrition which is key to your success! I was able to track my lifts each workout and see my strength improve each week. My goal was to become stronger and build muscle. I went from weighing 125 lbs to holding steady at 140 lbs, adding on 15lbs of lean muscle! I’m very happy with my results and have learned to love lifting weights! I would definitely recommend Jim to my friends and family!“Krystal Jolly
” I had been lifting for years. Powerlifting training, Crossfit/Olympic lifting training, then doing bodybuilding type training. I made the decision to hire a professional to help me cut weight. I called Jim Swift at 212 lbs.. and in a couple of months Jim had me down to 185 lbs while still lifting heavy. It’s been 6 months or so on my own and I’ve been able to maintain my weight with what I’ve learned. Thanks Swift Performance Training!”Garrett Delgado
“I had my first baby on July 4, 2016. I weighed 155 pounds at 39 weeks. I started working out with Jim end of August beginning of September 2016 at 135-140 pounds. I wanted to be close to my pre-baby body by my wedding on October 28, 2016.
When my wedding came I was 127 pounds and lots of lean muscle! I was 125 pounds pre-baby. Needless to say I was very happy with this outcome and training with Jim.
Jim kicked my butt and got me where I wanted to be, but in a healthy way. He is a great motivator and knows each person’s limits. Thanks for getting this mommy back and shape and helping me feel like I never had a baby :)”Shelby McClasslin Walls
